B Burger

Walk into B Burger and you’ll spot brightly coloured pop-art palm trees, artsy murals, skateboards, Vans sneakers and 80s band paraphernalia decking the space. Food wise, their classic American burgers come with a Japanese twist (from $6.90-$11.90). Their signature classic B Burger features either a single or double juicy beef patties with daikon pickles, tomato, lettuce, cheese and a generous serving of secret B sauce. Ramen Tenji

From the same company behind Atmosphere Bistro and Jin Ho Mia, comes Ramen Tenji. Located at The Seletar Mall, the eatery is decorated with many old-school posters to exude a Japan alleyway ramen store vibe. The signature tonkostu ramen ($14.90) broth offers a subtler flavour for the Singapore palate. Fancy some duck ramen? You’re in for a treat at Ts uta. Using only fresh duck with no added MSG, chef Yuki Onishi has created a rich flavoured broth infused with fresh duck oil. Slow-cooked for five hours, the kamo paitan soba soup version ($11) is worth a go. The kamo abura soba dry version ($10) features noodles marinated with premium shoyu and duck oil. Can’t get enough of salted egg yolk? Don Meijin offers a golden salted egg tendon ($16) that is a perfect combination of sweet and salty. Hotel Jen Tanglin will satisfy the fussiest of eaters. The Fully Loaded festive takeaway ($198) comes in two styles – traditional and Asian. The former features a roasted turkey with mixed meat with apple & chestnut stuffing, braised Brussel sprouts with bacon and more, along with giblet truffle, brown and cranberry sauces. As for the latter, the turkey is roasted, percik style (coconut and spices), with sides such as the Kerabu Prawn Mango Peanuts and Sri Lankan crab claws in Ah Hoi’s Chilli Crab Sauce.
