Bali’s food scene is making way for Sydney’s most popular Malaysian restaurant on 4 December.

Coming all the way from the Land Down Under, the award-winning Mamak Restaurant is opening its doors in Bali on the 4th of December. Located in the heart of Seminyak, Mamak Bali brings to the island’s culinary hotspot an amalgam of authentic and bold traditional Malaysian flavours.

One of the few, if not the only, restaurants in Bali serving Malaysian cuisine, Mamak Bali is proud to showcase the full menu of exciting Malaysian dishes. Popular menu offerings include the likes of Malaysian Roti, Curries and Satays. Holiday-goers can also look forward to kicking back with friends and family and over ice-cold beers to complement their meal.

Inspired by Kuala Lumpur’s Indian-Malay street food peddlers, more fondly known as “mamak stalls”, Mamak Bali serves up hearty Malaysian fare that is bound to satisfy both locals and tourists alike.

Established in Sydney and Melbourne, this is Mamak Bali’s first international venture. The new 70-seater diner is modern yet casual. While Australian visitors may find it reminiscent of the Mamak eateries abroad, Mamak Bali features a unique touch of home, with tasteful references to Balinese design.
