The third part of our Christmas special: delightful logcakes
Celebrate a white Christmas with Bakerzin‘s tropical logcake ($62), coconut-themed with a subtle almond base, and salted caramel mouse wedged between; or their striking blue-and-white snowy dream logcake ($68), reminiscent of a warm cup of eggnog and decorated with gold leaf and white chocolate.
The offerings at Délifrance range from their smooth classic red vevet logcake ($45) and pistachio logcake ($45), to the more unique Love of Delifrance raspberry, shaped like a tree trunk with a warm smiling face, a pink twist on the usual choc variant.
Until 28 Dec, Japanese bakery Green Pumpkin introduces two modern logcakes: their au chocolat Yule log ($40.80) pairs rich chocolate mousse with sweet peach slices, and the aux fruits Yule log ($30.80) introduces a tropical twist to Christmas with mango mousse and caramelised apple.
Roll up for some lovely homey treats from Pine Garden’s Cake, a 1984 homegrown family bakery. There’s a spiced apple caramel logcake ($42-83) with spiced apple chunks, and a cookies and nougat logcake ($59-86), with chunks of cream cheese and almonds.

Prima Deli joins the tropical festive fun with their lychee logcake ($38.90), sweet whiffs of lychee, as well as the traditional chocolate-flavoured truffle ($38.90) and limited edition mont blanc ($50.90).
Joe & Dough presents its Christmas Valrhona chocolate mixed berries Yule logcake, covered in a mix of rich and smooth 62 percent Valrhona Satilla dark chocolate and 33 percent Valrhona Opalys white chocolate, with sweet juicy mixed berries topping the decadent bake.
Artisan Boulangerie Co goes with a traditional chocolate logcake ($42) made with crunchy praline and Gianduja mousse flavoured with roasted hazelnuts; the cake is adorned with a layer of chocolate glaze and fresh berries. Pre-order at least two days in advance for collection.
Put a smile on loved ones’ faces with the joyously vibrant Dean & DeLuca Rainbow Logcake ($78), inspired by their signature Rainbow Cake. Red velvet fans are not left out as the cake has been turned into the luscious red velvet cheese logcake ($78). They’ve also introduced the chempedak fruit logcake ($88), filled with real pulp.
