The inaugural One Farrer Street Food pop-up was bursting at the seams as foodies floated down for a scrumptious feast.

With several food and drinks stall serving a wide variety of cuisine from local treats to European fare, our set of Farrer dollars (worth $30) easily satisfied two hungry bellies. Succumbing to the aromatic charred fragrance emitting from the grill, we joined the winding queue for a plate of succulent chicken satay. The fried Hokkien mee served on an opeh leaf with a side of fiery chilli paste was another hot seller we couldn’t resist. A side of California maki and refreshing Thai mango salad made good companions to our sinful local bites. Armed with fluffy churros and potent $12 cocktails, we ended off the night swaying to energetic beats by Sweatbox Jam at the laidback al fresco Boxkite Lounge on Level 2.
