From 1-4 June, DBS Marina Regatta brings the sun, sea and sand back to the bay for the sixth year, with adrenaline-packed activities to get your heart pumping in the day and party going at night. Here is why you should be there:

Dragon Boating

Who said the festival was only for sport enthusiasts? Sign yourself up for the dragon boat orientation programme on 1 June and experience the gist of paddling as you stroke down the bay against Singapore’s iconic skyline (psst… you may want to bring along a change of clothes).

If you think that’s tough, you’ll be inspired by paddlers battling it out in the all-new DBS Prime Warriors category where paddlers are 40 years old and above. The premier and corporate categories will be held on weekends.

Breeze through the waters when you hop onto a 18-metre tall mega sailboat and be rewarded with a whole new perspective of the Marina Bay (less the effort). Sessions are available daily.

Fitness Classes & Ultra Countdown Party

Too much sun? Get your summer body ready at the play dome with yoga classes launched by Lululemon, the upmarket technical athletic apparel.

By night, at the very same place on 2 & 3 June from 7pm to 10pm, look towards partying with Ultra Music Festival deejays like Dubvision, Crossnaders, Raiden, Jade Rasif, Moe & Myrne as they turn the beat up for a exclusive countdown to Ultra Music Festival.

Battle Bay

That’s not all—ever heard of U.S. game show series Wipeout? Now is your chance to get wiped out at Singapore’s largest inflatable water obstacle course, or be a conqueror and walk away with up to $8,000 in cash prizes.

With 9 obstacles to navigate through, we’re in for a good laugh as fitness & arts enthusiast Jamie Teo and singer Nathan Hartono takes on the challenge.

We mean it when we say there is something for everyone. Even if you just wish to soak up the atmosphere without getting active, beach bums can laze in hammocks on the pop-up urban beach, which boasts twice the area compared to last year. While at the Bay Dome, unleash your artistic talents in this interactive art dome by customising a character and watch it come to life.

If you’re feeling peckish from roaming the art market at BayFest Shops, The (trusty) Local People got you covered. Over at Bay Eats, fuel up with mod-Sin dishes from “Neo-Sin” restaurant Labyrinth, French eats at Garçons or cool down to traditional Leng Leng ice cream treats.
