Two salad choices for your grazing days.

Shaking up things is Skinny Salads, a new concept by the folks behind Skinny Pizza. Debuting
with eight salad combinations and seven grilled wraps by chef Philip Davenport of Toque 12 TV show fame, the eatery tosses together flavours from Thailand, Europe, Japan and further afield. We like the seared tuna & radicchio salad ($13.50) a treat with red onion jam, quail eggs and basil. The fermented cabbage & yuzu ($11.50) packs enoki mushrooms and a spicy citrus kick. Add $3 for confit salmon or tuna. An easy pick would be the egg & bacon wrap ($8.50), but we’re eyeing the master stock pork belly ($8.50), which incorporates Vietnamese salad with mint, coriander, nuoc cham and kimchi aioli. Don’t forget to reach for their vitamin-rich juices too. Daily 10am-9.30pm. #01-03, 100AM, 100 Tras Street. Tel: 6444 2136

Hop over to Green Rabbit Crepe & Salad Gastrobar–it’s great to know someone understands our calorie-counting days, our cheat days, and those days in between (compromise, right?). Nit-pick your salad’s contents (from $7.90) or opt for pre-assembled ones (from $8.90) with funky names like Mona Laksa and Tom Yummy. Crepes from $4.90–try the banana chocolate, strawberry shortcake and cheesy mushroom. #B2-06 Orchard Central, 181 Orchard Road
