Great for tots–there’s a scaled-to-height buffet section  and a dedicated BabyZone. From 10 Sep, visit with  junior for Spanish Night ($52++, Thu 6-10pm) for a  rich array of soups, tapas, hot dishes and desserts.  Delish options include gazpacho with condiments,  octopus Gallega, seafood fideua and saffron mousse  and apricot. Fara’s Restaurant [HALAL]

Don’t forget about this Melaka lok lok steamboat  buffet ($29.90++, Sat-Sun & PH 6-10pm) in a jom balik  kampung setting within this time-honoured resort. Dip  and cook your sticks of food in different soup bases:  laksa, satay, tom yum and chicken. Pro tip: visit on  Saturdays to catch the fireworks from Resorts World  Sentosa at 8.30pm. Island Cuisine [NO PORK, NO LARD]

Spend an idyllic afternoon in air-conditioned comfort  by the sea, after your journey through the Underwater  World. Choose to arrive for lunch (12-2.15pm) or dinner  (5.30-7.30pm; both sessions $24++) and eat your fill  of Singaporean faves like Hainanese chicken rice,  curry chicken, siew mai and green bean soup. Port of Lost Wonder [KID-FRIENDLY]

Every first Saturday of the month (5 Sep this round;  $39 nett adults, $15 nett children 5-12 years old; 6.30-9.30pm), POLW holds its BBQ Under the Stars event.  The kid’s club on Palawan Beach is decked out with a  pirate ship and various play areas. Spend a Tropicana Night ($68++; Fri-Sat 6.30-10.30pm)  at the colourful and fun Starz Restaurant. The marine  harvest is brimming with Alaska King crabs, snow  crabs and half shell scallops.
