The Dark Gallery

Dark Gallery

Chocolate Cube Hazelnut Latte ($9)

Aside from their single origin chocolate gelato, The Dark Gallery serves a marvellous cup of Chocolate Cube Hazelnut Latte ($9). A little DIY is involved as it is presented in a tray with a jar of frothed milk, a shot of hazelnut espresso and a cup of frozen endorphin-rich dark chocolate blocks. We like the airy texture of the mik, giving the drink a luscious feel without being cloying.

Coffee Break

Coffee Break

Hazelnut Kopi-C Kosong ($3/3.80)

Coffee Break is not your usual hawker drink stall. They are turning heads with their menu of Kopi ‘O’ and Teh Peng in flavours such as black sesame and almond ginger, along with matcha coconut toast, all served from a humble stall in Amoy Street Food Centre. The two newer branches, Raffles Place and Science Park, also offer the same old-school favourites with a splash of hazelnut syrups. The Hazelnut Kopi-C Kosong ($3/3.80) is a crowd pleaser, with the nutty taste of toasted hazelnuts melding into the bittersweet coffee.

There is a choice of white kanten pearls as a topping, but bubble tea purists can go for the chewy black tapioca pearls .
