Go nutty for nutella this February with our delicious line-up of hazelnut-flavoured coffee, milkshakes and cocktails.
World Nutella Day falls on 5 February, but why not enjoy an enticing round up of hazelnut drinks for the whole month? Try everything from a cup of Joe, a mammoth milkshake to an innovative cocktail.
The Dark Gallery
Aside from their single origin chocolate gelato, The Dark Gallery serves a marvellous cup of Chocolate Cube Hazelnut Latte ($9). A little DIY is involved as it is presented in a tray with a jar of frothed milk, a shot of hazelnut espresso and a cup of frozen endorphin-rich dark chocolate blocks. We like the airy texture of the mik, giving the drink a luscious feel without being cloying.

Coffee Break is not your usual hawker drink stall. They are turning heads with their menu of Kopi ‘O’ and Teh Peng in flavours such as black sesame and almond ginger, along with matcha coconut toast, all served from a humble stall in Amoy Street Food Centre. The two newer branches, Raffles Place and Science Park, also offer the same old-school favourites with a splash of hazelnut syrups. The Hazelnut Kopi-C Kosong ($3/3.80) is a crowd pleaser, with the nutty taste of toasted hazelnuts melding into the bittersweet coffee.

Typhoon Cafe is our pick for a classic Hazelnut Milk Tea ($5.50 for hot, $5.90 for cold). It strikes the right balance between the strong aromatic tea, brown sugar and hazelnut syrup. There is a choice of white kanten pearls as a topping, but bubble tea purists can go for the chewy black tapioca pearls .

The Warehouse Hotel
Is this a dessert or a drink? The Kopi Cat ($19) at The Warehouse Hotel is an eccentric blend of homemade salted caramel vodka, espresso, chocolate and Frangelico hazelnut liquer. It is topped with crumbled honeycomb, adding an enjoyable crunch to the smooth milky drink.

Known for their well-balanced cocktails, owner Dave Koh of Bar Stories refreshes his menu with an invigorating Into The Woods ($24). He combines the Frangelico hazelnut liquer with spiced rhubarb syrup, yuzu and a rich barrel aged gin for an addictive elixir, perfect for any day of the week.

Served in a glass fashioned into an opened milk carton, Stylo Milo ($19) is a curious mix of spiced rum, roselle, hazelnut oil, orange, vanilla and, of course, Milo. Sip lightly as it packs quite a punch.
