Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay is bigger and brighter with an African circus, ice-skating in the tropics and Michelin-star delights.

Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay is back again this year; and it promises to be bigger, brighter, and even more magical than ever!

Foodies are in for a treat with the wide array of gourmet food stands at SAVOUR Gourmet Village. The food village features chef creations from award-winning restaurants such as Audace, Meat Smith, and many more, starting from only $6. Try the Crunchy Kurobuta Pork Belly with Potato Espuma and Mustard by Monti, or the Hay-Smoked Mamachi starter at $16 served by two-Michelin starred Shoukouwa.

Foie gras magnum by Saint Pierre

Ever heard of a foie gras ice cream before? Check out the fascinating (and most expensive item) on the menu, foie gras magnum, proudly presented by one Michelin-starred French restaurant Saint Pierre. This chilled lollipop is prepared and served before your very eyes. Each rectangle block of foie gras confectionary is first dipped in a sweet glaze before being encrusted by a layer of chopped nuts – a fascinating combination of both savoury and sweet. This intriguing dessert is smooth and rich with a mellow flavour, even if slightly strange at first. If savoury desserts aren’t your thing, you’ll be glad to know you can get refreshing ice-cold fruity sorbets at the Popaganda stall not too far away at the Festive Market.

Circus Abyssinia presents Ethiopian Dreams

Pick out Christmas gifts at the craft shops at the Festive Market before heading over to the orange-striped tent to catch the Asian debut of Circus Abyssinia as they present Ethiopian Dreams. With three showings* at 5pm, 7pm and 9pm from Tuesdays to Sundays, this ticketed attraction boasts acrobatic performances and lighthearted slapstick humour that is fun for the whole family.

It’s Santa!

Don’t leave without getting your pictures taken with Santa for that perfect Christmas snap. With plenty of Instagram-worthy photo spots, Asia’s largest Santa’s Grotto features dazzling lights, models of flying reindeer and even a sled. Brave the crowds here to enter a lucky draw and stand to win prizes, or a white Christmas holiday in Finland!

Synthetic ice-skating rink on the fairground

It’s hot out here in the tropics, so cool down and spend some time with the little ones in the outdoor ice-skating rink or playing bumper cars. A carnival wouldn’t be complete without the typical fairground games and rides either, so get some tokens and get on that merry-go-round before you call it a day.

Catch falling snow at the Spalliera 5 times each night

End off the night à la Gardens by the Bay-style, with a spectacular Christmas-themed music and lights show amongst the Supertrees. With falling snow against the beautiful illuminated Spalliera, it truly is a Christmas Wonderland here.

Christmas Wonderland opens from 4pm to 11pm daily, from 1st to 26th December 2018. Tickets range from $6 to $10 depending on the day of admission, but get $2 off your admission tickets when you purchase them in advance.
